Today was about 94 degrees, sounds like we are having a lot of the same hot weather like in MN? We decided to get up early to put on the bottom paint before it got too hot. 7am the revelry started (of course I was just laying in bed waiting to get up). Out we popped, Ben had his normal breakfast of coffee and I had yogurt and granola. We finished the whole job by 10am! In record speed! Well then again there was two of us doing the work instead of just Ben.
We also wanted to finish before Nola and Ed arrived. We had a fun day of dinking around. We hung out at the boat. We went to eat at “the Galley”. I ate my first "soft shell crab", that was so totally weird! a small crab where you eat the whole thing shell and all!! yikes! Then we drove around and went to Keaton’s place. (that is the woman that owns a cute little cottage on the lake.) She let us use her beach. It was a very nice time there!
Then we came back to the boatyard to have ice cream and cool off in the air conditioned lounge after which we moved to the screened in porch for a nice time chatting with other boaters and admiring the cutest cat you ever did see!
and now Ben and I are in a sauna-like boat on the hard... now if we were in the water we would be way cooled by the water and a breeze. We do have little fans on the boat and since we are living the life of luxury cuz we have instant and never ending electricity we have the fans full on. It is on the edge of comfortable, enough to sleep... i hope.
have a great night, sleep well and may the Spirit guide you and talk with you in a very personal and special way.
