The captain of the Jiminy is shining her up and looking for more holes. The photographer might have pulled out her back and is just observing his fine work. And it is mighty fine work! Funny this morning we woke up to find that half of the jiminy was deflated... this we knew and that was not so funny until we looked closer and the side that had collapsed was not the side we found the hole in. Ironic. So we ... excuse me so Ben scrubbed down her again with soap looking for tiny bubbling holes and did not find any more. One of the boat workers, John (he drives the big lift that brings boats in an out of the water) He said put about a gallon of water inside the rubber tubes and then put in a few drops of food coloring, turn the boat around and out will pop a red drop of water and there you will find the pin holes. Smart. I never thought of that before. Thanks John, but I think we will just think positive with the holes we did find and also bring our pump with us wherever we go and call it a day, after all we are going to try and kayak everywhere this year.
today is a hot one again hotter than yesterday. I mostly lay around thinking positive about how my back is healing. tonight we are going to a Deltaville Delta's local baseball game. should be fun (except for the sitting - i'm bringing my canoe seat with me for back support). I have my blogging done for the day. Oh Beyance called us today she is a 8 year old girl originally from guatalope island, we met her on Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Island 2 years ago. We taught her how to play cards and have been a pen pals ever since. it was good to hear her voice with her cute accent. God puts so many wonderful people in our lives.! Especially all of my family (and you know who you all are... EVERYONE! co-workers, interps, friends, family all of you!) :)
