More whales!!

Still in same spot. It is 4:40am. The sky is red. You know red sky in morning sailors warning. Red sky at night sailors delight. How much of a warning is this? I now can see the whales pretty clear in the dawns light. They spray water over 20 feet at least. It looks like it is taller than me standing here looking out. The boat is covered in a thick wet dew. Still not a breath of wind. There are waves from the whales!  Still no boat except one fishing boat. I have turned off my chartplotter cuz I can see for miles and I can see the whales better.
5:30 am the whales started tooting, talking and sounding like a fog horn. You can hear them far away...

Then they started breeching! Boom echo! Boom echo! After about six thirty  I can only guess about 100 or more were out as far as the eyes can see and as far as the ears can hear.

For the grand finale two playful whales off in the distance slapped their arms in syncro and breeched together for a perfectly beautiful synchronized swim dance for a long time  i had to wake up Ben to see the big finale!!! We have pictures but they are far off. Will post when have wifi this is all on the iPhone. Who needs to go to Maine when we see whales here!?

Look at bens facebook for pictures.
