Sailing in CT

Sailing to thimble islands
We left at the crack o dawn. 6:30am to take advantage of the high tide and the ebb current! Excellent choice.
We sail till 4 and looked for an anchorage at thimble islands. This place has 20 some islands. Each little island has a house it two. The islands look like ones from the bwca. This must be where the rich of the rich hang out. These might even be "summer" homes. ?? Right now we are anchored between beautiful islands and Ben is beating me in cribbage so I can't blog tonight.
Well let me add...
A few phrases:
Warm and sunny
Winds off the quarter starboard stern
Anchorage area super duper crowded with all different boats and swimmer and small sailboats every where. They were rafter together 4 deep. That means four boat ties together and anchored next to each other!  Uffda!! It was like mine field. No way were we anchoring in there but before we left this morning we had plan B. North of Davis island. All is well here.
Pasta and parmesan cheese yummm
Cribbage Ben won (he was pretending to be the twins and I was the braves. The twins won. They are on a winning streak)
The Jellies got me tonight and not in a private area and now we know vinegar  does work. Thanks Mike for buying it!
I hate jellies!!! There are not even that many and still one got me grrrr!!!
Now calm winds and time to zzzzz.
Oh one more. This morning it was revalry at 6am with another triathlon !! So I'm beat. Blessings. Look on Bens blog and face book for pictures. I'm just using the iPhone blog.
