Hot and humid oh my!

Heat index 105 no wind not even a breath!!!
Today was a quiet day. We slept in cuz it was cool. Then biked to coffee shop slurped up iced coffee. Then back. We slowly took Down the sails. Sad sad sad time to take the boat out. It is going to be even hotter tomorrow and now we will be on the hard where  no wind not cool water oh my! 
Today we took down a sail then jumped in the water. Took down a second sail jumped in the water. Ditto. Then set the sails on land to fold up. Then hopped in the pool. Hot hot. Then ate tuna fish sandwiches. Hopped in the water. Then we went for an evening dinghy ride up the river. That was the highlight of my day!! It was a bit cool. Well there was a breeze from the boat. It was beautiful and romantic as the sunset.  and we explored the riverside. Oh wait I. Forgot. Owen now knows how to sit in a basket of a bike! Yes we brought Owen to coffee with us. He was so adorable in the basket. He was nervous but then he ducked his head down low and just was quiet. 
Amazing cat I'd say.
Ok back to hot and there are misquitos and no see ums around tonight due to no wind!!! Ahhh! I think it is hot. When Sharon and I were little we stayed at her house without AC. We would put ice cubes in our bellybuttons and let them slowly melt. I would do jsut about anything for an ice cube. At least we do have small fans! That helps a bunch.  Well have a nice night sleeping in your cool Minnesota air.
