The drive out east

Deanna, Ben and I drove out east to see Cricket. a straight 24 hours. one slight detour. When you get close to washington DC, we found out that all roads lead to downtown no matter how hard you try to get on the right road - we kept coming up on the wrong road - so instead of trying to avoid the gravitational pull of our nations capitol we submitted to the force and went sightseeing for an hour or so.
all of us tired.
I got to sleep a bit on the ride but unlike Ben I want to stay awake until 8pm tonight then sleep all the way until morning. Ben on the other hand is snoozing for a short time then we will all go out to eat at my favorite restaurant in town.
I am home with Ben in my life, so whenever he and I are together we are" home" and when we are on the boat we are "home" now we just need Cricket in the water and we will be home-home-home. It is fun to arrange the boat together cuz Ben moved into "my" house and now we are moving into "our" house.
I will try to weave into the blog during the summer "how I got started on this adventure". it goes way back from Jr High. stay tuned! I hope that little teaser will get you wanting to read the blog.
For those of you new to this adventure and blogging ... Ben and I have agreed to NOT read each other's Blog this way you will get an account of our day with differing views, I'm sure sometimes you will read both blogs and wonder if we were even on the same boat.
Signing off for today's first Blog
I would be amiss if I did not give praise to our creator for all He has done for me and my kids! thank You God
now singing off
Pam
