Up the mast again!

Today is Sunday. Day o rest! So we did rest. We stayed anchored and tried to figure out the battery situation again. Also to figure out why the anchor light (night light on top of the mast so other boats don't run into you while anchored) was not working. Ben, the smartest guy I know, figured it out. First let me say that all by my muscles and a strong winch I lifted Ben up the mast with the halyard. Yup amazing. When the owner Kell showed us how to get to the top of the mast he showed Ben but then he said, " I should have sent Pam up the mast cuz she might not be able to get you cranked up there". But I did! I'm working on my muscles and for those of you that have heard me whine about my ten xtra pounds welp I know I have lost probably five. Of course the sailboat diet is whatever is on board you get to eat sooo when you were shopping for food depends on how strong you were to not buy junk food. Well when we went I kept sneaking Junky food. I bought organic dark chocolate with dried cherries, I found dark raisinettes!, a few cracker, and potatoe chips. So today our cool food is gone. For breakfast we ate the last bit of yoguart, I had the last five grapes and granola. Lunch was hotdogs and sour kraut. And I snuck a few raisinettes then felt guilty and shared with Ben.
Today was church day so we read Acts again and played the guitar - praise songs for me and Ben songs for Ben.
We have two songs we harmonize and play well. Our goal is to get a whole set together. How cute!
Ya know how there are books you want to read and crafts you want to do songs you want to write but never get around to it. this trip I hope to get to those things. Today was a glimse of that. Even thou we did work on the anchor light which by the way was a simple switch hidden under the setee. ( the seat). Each day is new challenges to get us closer and more experienced. It is fun to practice here where the bay is big yet soft on the bottom. God graces us each day with His light love and mercy. And I smile.
Pam
